Default L92 Speed Density Tune?

Quick question, probably a no brainer for some of you...

Would a capable tuner run into any issues tuning a mostly stock L92 via speed density?

Any issues with the VVT in speed density mode, etc?

Packaging constraints don't leave room for a MAF. I'm thinking about putting an L92 with a GMPP dual plane manifold and a TB sitting right on top of it with an old school looking round air filter right on top of that. I have a guy with an old caddy who wants something different to cruise around with, but still stick to a "nostalgic" look. I think it would be pretty bad ***!

I used a Mast Motorsports M120 ECM. Mast uses speed density (no MAF) and still maintains functional VVT. Not sure if it can be done with a stock ECM.

It can be done with stock ECM. We tune them in SD all the time, any reputable tuner shouldn't have any problems tuning one SD.

Another option is doing a carb/MSD ignition box setup. MSD box drives the stock coils and you can setup a MAP based timing map. He also wanted the old school look and it ran pretty good once tuned.

Yeah, I've seen them around for awhile, pretty cool deal if you're running a carb, but this would be a fuel injected deal.
