rear lower control arm..
A friend of mine is installing my lowering springs finally! as he was finishing up one of the rears, one of the lower control arm bolts snapped. anyone else had this happen? and does anyone know where i can get this bolt? gonna see if i can have a local shop tap and drill the old one out. im going to try calling the dealership tomorrow, realllllly dont want to buy another lower control arm. Thanks guys

thats a front lower shock bolt pictured.
I'd check with the guy parting out the V in the classifieds.
That bolt is going to be hard to find but the good news is if you can one long enough to match it, and it threads ok, you might be ok . The torque spec is only 18 ft lbs. I can recall someone discovering only one bolt was holding their shock on, but that could create a deadly situation so don't do it.

I just had this happen last week,was installing my brake lines and realized I was missing a bolt,must of snapped off.
The remaining bolt was bent from all the stress on it,was not good.
I took it out,drilled and re-tapped it,used 8x1.25x50(if I remember correctly) bolts in it and it worked fine.
Saved me $400+ for a new lower control arm though.
