Unhappy Hi New to LS1Tech Help

Hi I own a 1987 Chev. Monte Carlo SS with a 2004 Ls1 5.7 GTO Engine. This morning I had an app. with State Ref. in Livermore, CA. and I had to cancel because as soon as I jumped on the freeway my check engine light came on!! Stoped at a gas station to get a troble shoot and got (P0442) Evap System Leak. They ran a SMOKE Test and could not find the problem. The tech said everything seemed ok even gas cap was good and I just bought the cap a couple of months ago and had the gas tank refurbished

That code isn't for a 1987 Monte Carlo. It's for the GTO PCM & engine. Just set that code & any other evap codes to no error reported & uncheck the SES box in the tune.
