Default A/C stops working on long trips

2000 camaro
As the title says, whenever i go on long trips(multiple hours) it seems like the A/C freezes up. I can still hear the blower running but its not really pushing as much air as it was origonally. I typically turn it off for like 10 min and then turn it back on and its working again but living in texas and it being 100 degrees outside thats a long 10 minutes. I am not an A/C expert, Any ideas?

its either low on charge or the coils are dirty not allowing enough air across the coil to stop it from freezing up

The drain hole could be plugged. Search this site and you'll find more info on it.

Your evaporator is most likely freezing up. When it does it turn it to vent and fan on high for 5 minutes or so then turn it back to A/C and see if it starts working again.
