Clutch Disengagement
Hello, This is my first post on the forums, I've been reading through the treads and have found similar problems to what im having but nothing has hit the nail on the head so far. I have a T-56 behind a Stock 99 LS-1 motor in a 70 Camaro. I am using a wilwood 3/4 Master cylinder. it ran great for about a month and then the clutch wouldn't fully diengage so i tried bleeding the whole system multiple times but the clutch would still not fully disengage, I bout a set of shims from Tick and it fixed the problem the clutch began to engage about 1/4 out of the the stroke and by 1/2 stroke i had full engagement, then all of the sudden a month later i had the same problem where the clutch wouldn't disengage. I think it may possibly be a bad pilot bearing? or bad slave? a side not im using a c5 bell housing and even after the headers have cooled down the bell housing is still pretty hot, but theres no smell of a burning clutch pad. Any ideas as to what may be going on?

The closest it gets is about 1 to 2 inches to the headers, but it gives me the issue when its hot or cold is that still too close? also changing the fluid dosent fix the issue.
