Default 91-96 vettes- a good buy

Always wanted a vette but had a couple of obstacles in my way. Needed a back seat and couldnt afford one lol. Seeing alot of these year vettes for pretty good prices some as lw as 5k. A good buy or no? Never been super crazy about the lt1 but even they have potential or theres always swap potential too

5k sounds like a good buy. L98 and LT1 C4's seem to go up and around the 10k mark, give or take some for how clean and how many miles. Junkier ones go for 5-7k from what I've seen, although with used C6's coming into the market and continued decline in base C5 prices, C4 is probably becoming even cheaper...

Yeah there were some when i searched in the ten to 12k but there are some for 5 and 6k with 80 and 90 thousand miles which i thought was pretty decent. Even if it needs a little work its a vette. Will always be a classic

I had a 93 ruby red anniversery car about 10 years ago and liked it. It had mega highway gears with an auto and cruised good but was a pig off the line. The only thing I didn't like about it is when the targa top was off it had pretty bad cowl shake and body flex.
If I could get a nice one for $5k-$8K I would but dont think I could fit in one anymore since I have gained about 100+ pounds since then lol.

LT1 and LT4 C4's are the most under-rated and under-estimated Vettes in existence IMO. They weigh about the same as a C5, and despite what anybody tells you the LT1's are extremely capable motors. Also with some decent suspension under them, they handle tremendously well.
