Default Clutch replacement

Any one here ever replace a clutch on their GTO by themselves. I did one on a 2002 transam (same driveline) and was told it could not be done up on 4 ramps but it was not a problem. Need to know if there are any tips or tricks to this procedure.

I did mine on 4 jack stands in my garage. I installed a Mantic clutch in mine and really like how it feels. Even though it's a single disc, I havent' had any problems with my 530hp.

yeah I did on 4 ramps with some brick under the wheels. I did clutch, SS lines and slave. Biggest headache was to bleed clutch afterwards.

Gotta get the car high enough... 6 ton jack stands help this happen. It can be done on a driveway (flat one).

Just finished a clutch install Saturday. Had the car on regular jackstands. I had to use the floor jack to lift the car a little bit more when I was pulling the trans out from under the car for cleaning as the transmission jack I was using was pretty tall even in the completely collapsed position. All in all, not a bad job to do. I've done engine/transmission pulls and clutch replacements in other cars but this was my first in a modern GTO.

Did mine last week aswell with 4 6-ton jacks, make sure you raise it high enough if you plan on pulling the trans completely out, and it helps to remove the bell housing from the trans which learned the hard way putting the trans back in lol (first timer)
