Default LT1 T56 to '99-'00 LQ4?

Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out all my transmission options for the '99 6.0 engine I have. After doing a bit of research on the engine I know it has a crank that is .400" longer than the rest of the LS series allowing it to bolt up to a 4L80E, TH400 or other SBC transmission. My question is, does this mean I can bolt up an LT1 T56 to the engine? I'm assuming the LT1 T56's input shaft is the right length for the extended crank on the LQ4?

Thanks!

No.

Only with regard to pilot bearing depth.

There's no stock flywheel that works, the bellhousing depth is different, the clutch release parts (fork or slave) are mounted differently.

If you wanted one thing to magically work, only to find 4 other things that required measuring, parts mixing and other tail-chasing fun, yeah it could work. Bolt up? Not even.

For the basics. And read some more.
