Default 98 camaro ss groaning noise making slow turns

I installed some 4.10s and a install kit about three weeks ago in my factory 10 bolt and I've been noticing a groaning noise on sharp , slow turns . Also is it because I didn't use the additive ? I used valvoline 75w90 synthetic .

I'm not sure about the additive, but I know synthetic generally isn't recommended.

I had a lot of chatter with no additive. Put a bottle in and it went completely away. Seems to be a very common issue. I don't know much about that synthetic gear oil though... Sometimes your better off running what the manufacturer recommends.
