Default B.Pillar mounted seatbelts?

Ok, so has anyone here actually done this swap?? I'm ready to ditch the stock drivers seat for something with more support. I've read the the G8, GXP, or Wesco belts will work and there is already a mounting spot for it. Truth? Pictures? Any info would be apprecated. Also I plan on leaving the stock passenger seat so I don't have to worry about the airbag weight sensor, plus my wife enjoys the heated seats Thanks

I am also very interested in this. My wife says the factory seatbelts cut into her neck, so I'd like to change them out.

Plus, it would open up the opportunity to change out the seats someday.

If you're going to swap seats, do both. It'll look ridiculous otherwise don't you think? That said good luck figuring out 3 point belts. I'd like to be able run some.

At this point I wouldn't care what it looks like, I just want to be able to stay in my seat lol. Doesn't look like it'll happen without a roll bar though and that defeats the purpose of owning a 4dr Caddy.

Naf was a strange fellow lol he had a lot of trick stuff though.

I've seen a bar installed across the back between the B pillars for 4 point harness but I don't recall seeing a B pillar belt mount. Shouldn't be hard to do, but making sure the area is reinforced to with stand a crash and not separate from the pillar is what worries me.

I located some of his posts, but all his pictures were down. I don't recall what year model car he has, but my '06 definitely doesn't have any factory attachment points which is a real bummer...and with all the electronics I'd hate to disable the one airbag and then the rest of them not work.

Yeah, I've heard bad things about "harness bars" you're referring to. I was really hoping for a factory option...
