I have a 92 silverado with a 383 stroker and 700r4 with vig 2800 stall that runs 7.90 1/8 mile daily driver.it weighs 4200lbs w/o driver.putting the engine and trans in a 83 t type regal that's probably gonna weigh 35-3600lbs.my question is will the gear change in the trans 2.84,1.57 speed me up any by changing the gear ratio
