e38 blow thru maf, stock housing vs weld in flange in 3" ic tube
debating the maf arrangement for my latest project
2009 4.8 gt45 turbo running stock e38 ecm
running 3" ic tubing. stock maf plastic housing measured ~3.5"
should i just get a pair of 3"-3.5" silicone reducers? (i would think this would cause turbulence to the airstream that the maf is trying to read
option b is to buy a maf flange and weld it into the 3" ic pipe. slightly smaller diameter but the airflow should be decently smooth
