Default FG2 shock same as Gabler?

2 questions:

I am installing H&R springs this week on a 46,000 mile 05 V. I thought it may be a good time to replace the FG2 shocks at the time of installing springs. Is this necessary?

I cannot find the FG2 using the GM part number, but when I called a local autozone they have a Gabler? shock that has the same yellow label with pink dashed lines. Does this sound legit?

Thanks

put those springs on and ride before you get some turd shocks. If they are not leaking and you don't auto cross to work, they are fine.

don't forget the mighty mouse kit for the rear
