Default comp short travel vs lunati race version

Looking for a new set of lifters.. idk pros and cons of the short travels. wwnting to spin 7-7300... wanting good long motor life. And good quality thatbi dnt have to worry abt adjustable pre load. .

Lifters are not the secret to getting it to live at that rpm. Everything must match up.

I turned mine 7500 with the street lunati with no issues. The new engine has the High RPM version and I am not turning it any harder.

valve weight springs retainers and lobe on the cam will determine what lifters you can use.

I am not impressed with any of the comp short travel stuff.
