Default Monsoon Rewiring Help?

So I spliced and connected the speaker wires by the Monsoon amp that should bypass the amp completely. But, I am getting no response from my speakers. As in, nothing is coming out, no static, nothing.

I connected the following wires from the monsoon amp wiring:
Front Right -: F1 to F6
Front Right +:E1 to F7
Front Left -: E3 to E16
Front Left +: E2 to E15
Rear Right -: E4 to F10
Rear Right +: E5 to F11
Rear Left -: E7 to F4
Rear Left +: E6 to F5

Info for the wiring and procedure from these threads:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/stereo-el...ss-wiring.html

Can somebody explain why I'm getting no sound, please? Technically, by doing that, there should be a straight line from the head unit to the speakers, right?

By the way my car is a 2002 Firebird V6 Convertible
Go ahead, make the V6 jokes. Lol.

Thanks, Moe

I wouldn't make V6 jokes but I could make jokes about doing something dumb like bypassing a perfectly good amp to run off the head unit alone. Unless the amp died or you replace it with a better aftermarket amp, that's just dumb. And that was discussed at length in the very thread you linked.

There is nothing wrong with using the monsoon amp at all.
