Potential LS1 owner again! Hi guys, just joined the board. I previously owned a 00' corvette with a T56 6 speed in it 
. I sold that car and went the import route for several years (WRX, RX7, MR2).
Fast forward to current day I currently have a 95' Miata, 03' Dyna and a Prius (120+ mile commute 5x a week). I've got the itch for a Fbody LS1 so I went digging for information and ended up here!
I'm currently looking at a few Fbody I've got my eye on a 00' Firebird Formula with 177,xxx miles and an A4. The car is stock and runs fine. The price is pretty killer $3,500, I figured I could buy it and build up the 4L60E transmission. What are your guys thoughts? Should I wait out until the winter to pick up a nicer used Fbody.
