Just another bow tie guy My name is Branden. I am new to the forum, but been around small block chevys for most my life (31 years).
I own a 06 Impala SS 5.3, an 82 Chevy 3+3 crew cab dually with a cummins 12valve swap. Several Honda cars from what I like to think of as my fast and furious stage lol.
I work in information technology and wrench in my free time as a hobby.
I have built 305's 350's 355's and even one 383 stroker in past projects.
I found this site while searching the web for info on 5.3 afm dod lifter issues. All the engine shops and dealerships I talked to had never heard of issues with lifter failure. Its funny how I have found TONS of info on here and the web now...
I have been a mod at past forum sites I have belonged too for other hobbies and have even created a few Vbulliten sites. I am located in Dayton Ohio Area.
