Default 96 Z28 going L92, wiring question

I just got my hands on a L92 6.2 out of an 07 Escalade today and I am starting the process of window shopping and making up a list of parts that I will need to do the build/swap. It's going to be M6. I already know what I'm going to do with the engine, trans, rear, suspension, etc. My one question that I need to get squared away is the wiring. It's going to be street/strip car so I still want the interior to work. Would a standalone harness be better off or can I follow the LT to LS wiring sticky as to alter the harness? I've seen the Texas Speed harness they make for the 411 PCM and I will be converting to drive by cable and 24x for it all to work properly. I just need to know what would be better off for it to all work together. Thanks guys

I would use the conversion harness.. It'll be plug and play plus everything will work perfect.

So you're saying go with the standalone? If I did that, is it still plug and play for all my gauges to work or am I wiring to the body harness for that? I don't mind electrical work, I just want to know what I'm getting into.

We build a plug and play harness for your application. It even has a new factory firewall grommet. Feel free to give us a call.
