Oil Pan help
Hey all,
So I have recently acquired a C5 vette without an engine. Do not hate but I am putting a L33 into it due to budget constraints. I will have to put all different front accessories to fit in the space but most important I need to figure out what to do for the oil pan.
Obviously the truck pan is WAY too deep and will bottom out on the road. No good.
I road race every once and a while but is mainly a street car. I have been to Mosport which has some long sweepers which kills most oil pans.
What is my best bet short of a dry sump? I am thinking to find a stock batwing pan, add extra oil, and have at it. If I notice dips in oil maybe an accusump?
Thanks a ton!!
