NO!!!!!! Rearend howl....again
I had a 98 10 bolt 2.73s non TCS. I blew the bearings, the diff. and rack and pinion. I went to my local pick and pull and grabbed a 00 Trans am 10 bolt with 2.73s non TCS, put gear oil in it before I swapped it in. everything turned freely and didnt have any grinding. Now 11,XXX miles later I swear I'm starting to get howl again. I put 2.5 quarts of royal purple synthetic 75W90 gear oil. Is there something else going on with the drivetrain that is causing a problem? A 1998 Camaro that is stock with a A4 should not burn up two 10 bolts.
Any suggestions?
