Any advantage of ordering directly from yank?

Any advantage of ordering directly from yank? I want to order my converter (a PT4000), but I was wondering if ordering from Yank would be better than ordering it from a place like tbyrne motorsports? Also, I notice that the PT4000 says an STR from 2.2-2.7. How will I know which mine will be, or is that something you specify?
