looking for bushing to mod my shifter with.
hello guys.
I'm a ne w owner of a CTSV 2005
all stock... including all the usual wear and tare parts that go out withing the first 10k miles .
So I'm looking to do the stock shifter mod. I have the pipe sized down
and I was looking to buy the "UUC" bushing
I've called UUC and they directed to contact Linsay Cadillacs part man Luke.
Well no luck there, luke says there are no replacements but how are the guys that do this mod doing this?
any After market/DIY bushing out there. I don't mind improvising... heck I'm thinking of buying a Honda Energy bushing and trimming it to fit.
well any info helps.
thanks

I don't get it, Luke doesn't have any more Uuc bushings? I just ordered mine like a month ago. But unless you are swapping the shifter out there's no reason to replace these bushings. It's a lot of work

You are talking two different bushings. Luke sells the UUC polyurethane ones that go on the outer linkage bars. He needs the ones that go in the base of the shifter.
I replied to your pm on the other forum. I can send you used stock nylon ones for free or my redesigned ones (Delrin, tighter fitting).
