91 K2500 ls swap Ok, semi quick question for y'all. I got a three quarter ton diesel thats shot, I also got a 99 z71 with a tore up body. Beyond mounts and reflash what else will I need to make it happen? Im planning on taking dash and seats along with the motor and transmission. All wiring will be swapped over. Is this as feasabal as I think? Neither are dd's so time is not a big thing. Thanks in advance,

Get on ls1truck.com. Im doin a 92 k1500 and they have pages of write ups on swapping into a obs. Its a pretty straight forward swap main thing I can tell you is use adjustable or 1" set back motor mount plates and youll be able to keep your factory driveshafts as long as your using factory trans/t case. The diesel set up may be a little different as far as mounts, fuel tank, etc. but should still be pretty straight forward. Good Luck
