Default TCM issues

well i got my tbss back from the tuner and did a little driving/messing around on the street, and my trans wont shift/stays in 2nd. I also get a CEL light, with 2 codes, one is a loss of tcm communication the other is a maf code. Anyways this is 4l80e trans with a 4l70e tcm and a pcm for less harness. i swapped the tcm with another, (burning hot) and it works now. my question is would heat wig it out or kill it? my tbss is turboed and the downpipe is some what close to the ecm/tcm

Sounds like you need to relocate the ECM and TCM.
