I'm in the middle of purchasing a 2000 Camaro Z28 - This will be my third Z28 and fourth F-body vehicle. Previously I've had a 93 Z28 and a 95 Z28. This will be my first LS1.

Oh absolutely. Certainly a good place to start from. I'm also happy there are several different ways to modify these F-bodys.

Nice to see some NC representin'. I used to drive a 1999 pretty much every night and I was always impressed with that car. Prices have got to be near rock-bottom on them now...

Did you get it and do you have any pics?

Yes as a matter of fact I do. Been enjoying it for about two weeks now. Still needs some detailing, and a few other odds and ends on looks. But I am very happy with it. One little surprise I didn't know until I was taking it home is it's geared. I'm not sure if it's 3.73 or 3.55, but it certainly isn't the stock gear. I also love the Hurst short throw.

Looks like there are all kinds of modifications that can be done with an LS engine. I'm quite happy with the purchase.
