Sufficient flow in oil cooler lines for oil filter?

Sufficient flow in oil cooler lines for oil filter? I am planning to put a notch in my F body pan to make room for a steering rack. I therefore will not be able to use the stock filter location. I'm sure you would suggest going GTO but the GTO pan is taller overall. If I use the oil cooler ports in the oil pan to run the filter will that provide sufficient flow to the filter? Or are they too small?
