I get a lot of questions as to why one of my GoPros sounds better than others so I made a quick video. I kept the hero 3 with the closed back out of the wind, but in the wind it picks up a lot more wind noise than this video.

This is just a quick test I did the other night, I'm going to do a VERY comprehensive test soon. Stay tuned!

If you want to here what I was talking about with the Hero 3 picking up a lot more wind, watch the last race in this video and you'll know right away which was the one with the Micover and which one was without.


I've had my GoPro with the Micover on up to 170mph, and you can still hear the exhaust, little bit of wind noise but not bad until the cars let off.
