Patriot Stage 2 LS6 heads
Hey guys, I found some Patriot Stage 2 LS6 heads with no valves springs etc for about 500. Is this a decent deal and what power will these make? How much to assemble?
Thanks,
Dave

Bare heads? Id just send your stock heads to get done by a better company personally. Im not a fan of patriot heads although they are a little better then stock.
Gains will be determined based on the cam choice. If you dont plan on doing a cam at the same time I wouldnt waste the time and money.

Not a fan of Patriot heads. I had them on my last Gto. Stage 3 to be exact milled .030 to raise compression to 11.5:1. With a fast 92, Texas Speed MS4 cam (otherwise known as the Lexington Steele cam) and a forged bottom end only put down 449rwhp and 390rwtq on an LS2. In other words they suck and the same #s if not more could have been achieved with stock heads.
They only gained power on LS1 cars basically due to upgrading the casting from the 241 or 853 too the LS6 243 or 799.
