I'm having a shifter noise that I can't figure out. I searched and found a lot of threads but non seemed to describe mine. At first I thought it was something around on or under my console but now in pretty sure it's coming from shifter or trans. Car is a 98 z28 6spd ls1. It only does it under load and the higher the rpm the louder it seems to be. I've noticed it has gotten louder since I changed the fluid. I read a lot that the these cars make shifter noise but this can't be normal it's pretty loud. Also I can feel it in the shifter if I keep my hand on it. Any ideas to what I need to check /replace?
