Will a Monsoon HU from a 2002 firebird work in a 2k? I have a 2000 T/A that is unable to play a CD for more than 20 seconds without skipping and has no lighting in the display. I have a line on a HU from a 2002 firebird (don't know what model) and just need to make sure it will fit without issues. I looked through the forums a little and you guys seem to be the experts. Thanks in advance for your help.......

Wow, that was quick. Thanks!!! One more question though. Is there a difference in the wiring or performance of the standard radio that was not the "Monsoon" model. I've seen several of these for sale and don't really know if the monsoon HU is technically different or if the difference is in the speakers and amp. Thanks again and sorry if this was also asked already. I didn't see anything in my searching.

There was a BOSE system and a Monsoon system. I dont know what the BOSE system looks like. Just be sure to get the Monsoon headunit and you'll be fine.
