Default 1951 Ford F1 LM7 swap

figured i would start a build here for my truck. Its a 51 ford F1 on a first gen s10 frame. It has full air ride suspension and had a 355 small block backed by a muncie m21. I want to make the truck a better cruiser so i got a 03 lm7 and a 4l80e. Its getting a texas speed 228r cam and a ls6 intake.
how i got the truck

first day i got to drive it with the small block

how she looked before i pulled it all apart

new motor
and after i cleaned it and painted it

started fitting everything together. i made plates for the frame mounts so i could move the motor back a little to help with some clearance issues i was having. i also made a new trans cross member because i did not like the original that i made.

Nice truck. I'm really digging these old trucks with LS power.

well its been a while but got a few updates. i got the motor back from the guy who did the cam swap and all that goes with that. while it was there i started working on my new front fenders. also got the shifter mounted and ran all the new fuel lines.

motor and trans back in with intake all together so i could do the fuel lines

shifter mounted and cable ran

start of rust repair on the fenders
