mighty vac bleeding
Okay so had my clutch replaced not to long ago and had little pedal pressure. i assume the shop did not bleed it so i grabbed my mighty vac after seeing a youtube vid on bleeding through the reservoir in the engine bay. it seemed extremely simple so i went at it.
a lot of people said it took five min... i have had mine sit for a hour and bubble after bubble.
could there possibly be that much air or does something sound wrong.
maybe i am just doing it wrong?
Any tips on using the mighty vac perhaps a short video?
thanks in advance,
chris

I assume you are bleeding through the bleeder on the slave cylinder? If so, you are probably seeing air getting sucked in around the threads of the bleeder screw and into your clear Mighty Vac line. You can do one of a few things.
Take some non-hardening silicon and put it on the bleeder screw threads to stop from sucking air. You can also use liquid teflon, which is what I used.
I doubt you are seeing air in the actual lines. If you were, then you have another problem.
