Default Speedometer in a 51

Ok guys i picked up my new gauges for my 51 truck, old analog gauges. (I like the original look) I see the place for my speedometer cable. The 4l60e transmission has an electrical plug that feeds into the wiring harness. (ls-1) 4.8 liter engine. How do I get the conversion from the harness to the cable ?? I have wire on my harness for the speedometer hook up, the vss is already in the transmission and running inot the harness?? How does the two match up.
