Monster Stage II noise
Hello,
I have a Monster stage II clutch I purchased a few years ago. I only have put about 5K miles on the clutch/car in the past 3 years. I am having an issue with the clutch making a weird noise from a stand still. It doesnt sound like anything is grinding but it sounds as if it something has to break loose in order to work. It only makes this noise going into gear from a stand still, no matter what gear I use to get the car rolling. It almost sounds like an old heavy metal door opening. The sound is difficult to explain.
I have been reading through threads about people having issues getting their car into certain gears. I have the same issue with 4th gear. The transmission was bullet proofed with T56 Premium Master Overhaul Kit prior to the clutch install. I never had shifting issues until using the Monster clutch.
I do have a Tick adjustable slave installed as well, adjusted it numerous times with no luck. I bled the whole system as well...still not luck.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
