Default One head off.. Any mods while she apart???

So somehow spit a plug out the passanger side head. Ok could be all the plug changes reading plugs after spraying but it happened I pulled it to do the thread repair and no cash for new heads but wanted to know any cheap mods I should do while torn apart?

Port them yourself and replace your lifters.

Other than self porting the heads there's nothing I can think of that will be a huge benefit..

I would fix the thread and pop them back on

And get back on the road lol

I removed air and egr so what vacum ports can I plug on intake now I can get to back of it? Thinking bypass TB while I'm at it.

I'd replace the lifter trays, and carefully look over the lifters for any possible damage or excessive wear. If they look good then soak them in some Chemtool B12 for a few hours.

Take the other head off and replace the gaskets with a thinner cometic to bump the compression up a bit, and get the heads ported.
