Question Which Cam

Im looking for a streetable cam that has a lopey idle. I am running long tube headers and I am assuming it will be worthwhile to either port the heads I have or buy some aftermarket ones. It will be an N/A car. I am pretty much a newbie when it comes to cams so any input/information about what makes a good heads/cam combo or suggestions of a combo is very much appreciated.

there is endless discussion on this board for what is the best combo, doing a search will help. What are your goals? Is this going to be a street or track only car? What type of gains do you want? The most popular seems to be 224/244 114 lsa.

It will be a street car that will see the track only a little if at all. My goal is to gain as much horsepower as possible while staying streetable (I dont want to worry about it stalling and I dont want the powerband to be in too high of an RPM range.) The transmission is a T56.

I second the idea search for 224/224 112 among others. Some lope and gotta be one of the most popular street cams. You'll be reading for days lol.
