C6 Breaks Diff.

Damn.. So you put a C6Z in and it broke... Did it break right on the launch or wheel hop or what?
Did you break original C6 diff before the c6z diff?
I'm not surprised if broke tho.. I'm on my 3rd "built" diff in my C5 and it hasn't been to the track yet with this diff..My buddy just broke his built 3 rib at the track last weekend on his 1st pass on a new combo, but it had a ton of 1.3x 60's on it.
I'm running mine this Friday, I hope it all holds. It will be my first time out with the auto/new diff. My last time out with the stick I shattered the diff into pieces and took out my built tranny/g force mainshaft with it..
Contrary to popular belief.. Vettes are not the ideal "platform" for real racing...(drag, not roll race BS).
Hope you get it patched up quick. There is always diffs popping up for sale in the C6 parts section at CF..

My 2.56 Diff has had ZERO issues. I swapped to the Z diff since i snagged one off the CF.
I'm going to blame it on the shock of the MT Drs. These things have no give and im going back to the hoosiers i ran before.
I plan on getting it welded back up( guys have gone this route with no issues) and also doing a brace this time.
