Most likely well need the PCM flashed to delete all of the 4L60e codes and rig up a TV cable on the TB...

Why not just look for a use trans...might cost a bit, but will do away with having to spend for someone to ref lash the PCM two time and the cost of the T.v setup.

I second that recommendation. Installation of a 700R4 will also require a rework of the trans crossmember as the mounting pad location is about 2" further forward than the mount location on the 4L60 trans.

Most respectable yards offer at least a 90 day warranty on big ticket items like that. Just ask before you pay.

Have you considered buying some $500 beater to drive until you can afford to fix your camaro?

+1 on i r teh nobz suggestion.. check Craigslist (both for trans and beater), might find a used Trans for a few hundred or less.. JY ones are ok if you check for mileage and warranty.
