Default 4L60E Behind a 6.0

Does anyone know what has to be done PCM/wiring wise to get the 4l60e to work behind a 6.0. I'm putting it in a jeep xj or i would use the 4l80e, but i'm lacking on the tunnel space to do it. Plus i don't figure on going nuts with the engine. Just some L92 heads and a little spicier cam. So what will it take to switch a 4l80e 6.0 to a 4l60e?

You need to change a couple pins around in the wiring harness (4l80e-60e wiring is listed in the faq sticky post 13). Ditch the torque converter spacer. The computer does need to be reprogrammed to run the 60e. If you have any of the tuning software its pretty easy, just have to swap a 4l60e transmission segment in to your file. EFILive lets you do the swap yourself, HPTuners you have to e-mail them the file and they do the swap.

I believe its two pins that need to be added to the harness/pcm

4l80e= 11 wires
4l60e= 13 wires

At least for my harness, it was originally for 4l80 but Im using 4l60e.

I soldered in a new connector.
