Default How many quarts?

Was just going to drop the pan and then add new tranny fluid. About how many quarts should it take? Thanks

actually its 4 qts.on a stock pan. you might as well install a 6qt aluminum pan while your at it, for obvious reasons

I'd get a few more than 5. You never know how much fluid could be sitting in the converter...

A full TC/tranny install takes about 10ish quarts, and the TC usually holds about 4-5 quarts. I'd say get like 6 or 7, and then just fill as needed while checking the fluid level... Better to have an extra quart lying around than to come up short...
