I really like the color on the intake. However, I do believe the rest is a bit overload. Have you thought about some sort of decals or design to take away from the SOM? Maybe paint the lid a different color. I think the metallic grey would look really good with the SOM. Go with something suttle that doesn't take away from the intake.

I think you should have left the lid alone, and done the valve covers in the same color. That would have looked awesome.

I plan to outline the FAST logo on the manifold in Dark Metallic Gray............As for stickers. Sorry guys. I'm not a fan. The valve covers will be done later this year in Dark Gray Metallic though once the coil relo kit goes on. Thanks for your options guys......

I really wasn't thinking stickers.... I was thinking actual airbrushed graphics. The dark metallic gray will look good and might just be the icing on the cake.

That's an idea. The under hood paint work isn't done just yet. I do plan to accent it more with the Dark gray color. Just not real sure what kind of accenting I want to do and what to do it on.

Those are SOM nice pics!! I agree the lid should be black. It also looks like the lid doesn't really match the exterior paint....but it appears the STB and intake match the exterior paint VERY well!! You can really see the metallic on those pieces and I think thats what makes them match up with the exterior paint.

I say forget the dark gray and just go black. SOM has more of that deep look to it, that the black will set it off better imo. Maybe throw on an LS1 decal on the airbox or a TA logo or even the WS6 logo in black. And some black FRCs with SOM lettering would look really good, imo. I love SOM, and feel that no other color outside of black gives it any justice as an accent
