Just put Pirelli on my car
Decided to try something besides my BF Goodrich KDW and just put some Pirelli P Zero Nero M&S on the car.
Took it out right after they mounted them this afternoon and lit em up to see what they would do and took some quick corners. Also it was 50 degrees here today so that plays with it some.
They are quiter then the KDW and when you take a corner hard they will squeal where my BFGs were pretty quiet and gave no real sign before they lost traction.
In a straight line they held pretty good. But again they were squaking when my KDWs would have just spun.
The real test will be on a warmer day above 70. The KDWs before they wore down would hook excellent. I hope these do as well.
I chose these because of the reviews at tirerack: link

The BFG KDW was gonna be 739.00 and the GoodYear GS-D3 were closer to 800.00.
I had them out yesterday in the rain and they were hooking as good as the BFG KDW which I had last.
Today it was 75 degrees and from a straight run slamming the pedal I did not spin. Only if I started at 1800 rpm would I get a spin and I did not heat them up before hand. At a brake they broke at just over 1800 rpm.
These are not Drag Radials so breaking at over 1800 was cool. I will try again after spinning them to heat them up.
In the cornering they are very good and let you know when I am approaching the theshold by giving a squeal which my KDWs rarely gave any indiction before they broke traction. All in All I am happy, but only a little over 100 miles so not enough to tell.

love them also
my f body friends gave me major crap for putting these tires on my car
drag radials or nothing they all say
well I dont run enough for the cost of drag radials and i do drive this thing long distances so need rain traction.
the 10,000 mile tread life dr turns me off
think we found the best of both world.
just got them today, love the feal"no where near as harsh as f-1's and they hook wet or dry.
This afternoon got caught in rain and floored it from 45 miles an hour no spin !a4
anyway i think will provide many miles of good fast driving
drag or curves.
look forward to timing my car with this setup, these tires seem very sticky compared to new f-1's
