Default 02 ws6 427 lsx boosted, which MAP? Fast?

I have an 02 ta with a fully forged 427 going in. It has a fast 102 tb and intake. I'm wondering do I run the stock map (Delco 16212460) or I have the fast 307009 3bar map? The motor will be a se tune and run an f1r with a cog kit.

If I run the fast does anyone have pics of how it mounts?

Thanks

You can't run a stock (1 BAR) MAP with a boosted engine. A 2 BAR is good to ~ 15# and a 3 BAR is good to around 30#. The brand/make won't matter as much as the scaling and connector shell/pins...

Motor is NA for now but setup for boost it will have a 9:1 compression rate.

However I will switch the MAP now as I have the fast 3 bar already for the time being.

You have to tune for whatever MAP is installed. A 3-BAR on a n/a setup will output a low resolution signal, which won't hurt anything but may cost you some power. All MAP sensors, whatever "BAR" rating they are, output a 0 - 5v signal. A 1-BAR (28" vac to 0 PSIG) sensor has a range of 0 - 5v, and a 3-BAR (28" vac to 30 PSIG) sensor still has the 0 - 5v output. Since you'll only be using the vacuum part of that range, you'll lose 2/3 of the signal spread.
