Default New to nitrous, stock bottom LS1, want to do a 150 plate kit, help with setup

This year coming up I want to get a wet plate kit. Probably gonna experiment with 100 and 150 shots, nothing more. My car has 99k on the clock, runs strong and has never missed a lick. I just did H/C/I a few months ago and already wanting more. For fuel, I have a 255 Walbro, the hotwire kit, and 42# injectors. All other mods are in my sig. I am leaning very strong to the nitrous outlet plate kit as the solenoid setup on the intake is real clean and slick looking. I just need info on all the accessories to make it 100% safe. FPSS, WOT, purge, etc. Im not familiar with any of that. I have access to one of the best tuners around so that end is covered also. Thanks in advance guys.

Well i'm running a 100 shot on a HCI setup. I'm running the following: WOT switch, window switch, fuel & nitrous pressure, bottle heater, timing retard, different plugs, upgraded fuel system. That's all I can think of at the moment lol

Im in the same boat.ive been doing some research and all the threads are old and pretty outdated..
Can someone hhelp me and the op buy providing some links to some of the top of the line safety stuff needed? Window switchs, wot switch etc..
I found this http://www.lingenfelter.com/mm5/merc...gory_Code=C163 and it seems cool since it also has a 2 step..but as far as timeing retard can we retard the timing when running nitrous only and when we go back to running the motor NA switch the timing back to stock? Or is it ok to retard the timing for nitrous and also drive around with out switching timing back to stock?

An RPM window switch is your best safety feature in my opinion. Besides that, a fuel pressure safety switch will be a nice thing to have.

As far as accessories, a heater is the first thing I would purchase, aside from a pressure gauge.

I am a fan of the bottle heater and remote bottle opener too... WOT Switch is the way to go also

All of those items are good to have. Don't forget a purge! Feel free to PM me and I can build you a quote on everything.
