Default Exhaust question on active fuel manag. vehicle?

I just bought a new 2014 silverado. I was wondering if anyone has put aftermarket exhaust on one and how it sounds when it shuts down to 4 cylinders...I thought maybe it only does it at highway speeds but it does it while driving around town. Im not looking to do anything crazy like longtubes and full exhaust.. just maybe a muffler for some sound. Anyone have any input?

I had a Corsa cat back on my 2007 Sierra with DOD and it sounded like a 6 cylinder when it dropped 4 cylinders, but it wasn't that noticeable to me inside the truck.

I have a 2 chamber flow dumped at the rear axle on my 12. It is noticeable when it switches over, but it is still a deep sound. It kinda sounds like a v8 missing on a couple of cylinders imo.

I had a 4x8x16 universal Bassani muffler in my 2008 Silverado Extended Cab. I have several clips in my youtube account including one in the cab while driving.
I did not have any complaints when it would go to 4 cyl....
