Default 2006 cts-v header installation

Hey guys I am actually gonna install some pace setter headers this Sunday and have some general question hoping that I can get some feed back so it is the ls2 has 243 heads when I got the gaskets they are for the ls1.if I'm not mistaken they will fit curious to know how's the installation process and what else am I gonna need

Make sure your motor mounts are good before you install the headers. Cause its a bitch when they go when headers are on the car. Other than that the install is straight forward. Also did you buy the off road connection pipes?

Yes, the LS1 gaskets will work. However, you can clean up and reuse the gaskets that were on before and save some coin.

The Pacesetters will need those off-road connectors, or you will have to have an exhaust shop weld them up. The connectors are the better option as they allow for easier removal later. It'll come in handy for motor mount replacement, starter, trans removal for clutches or rebuilds...
