5.3 swap now going to a 6.2 swap hey guys been awile! so i did a 1999-2002 5.3l swap in my cj7 jeep about this time last year i cut down the harness flashed the computer and did hours of work. going from a wore out 304 to a fuelinjected 5.3 sure was a major upgrade in power. 
i got a really good deal on a 2012 6.2L out of an escalade i do not have much experance with this new of a motor yet so its time to dig into her
here are my now new questions
will my cut down 5.3l harness work on the 6.2l ?
will the 5.3 computer that has been flashed run the 6.2? or will i have to get the 6.2 computer flashed
can i convert the fbw gas pedel to my cable pull 5.3l throttle body

I am switching the 5.3 out of my off road car to a 6.0 ly6 and I know if I was going to keep my 5.3 aftermarket harness I would have to change out the fuel injector plugs and extend my cam positioning sensor wire. Also the 5.3 has a 24x reluctor wheel and my 6.0 has a 58x. So you can buy a box for $250.00 to convert it or you have to change the reluctor wheel on the crank to a 24x.
