What does it take to turn my LS1 into a 422ci?

What does it take to turn my LS1 into a 422ci? I had to get a new block for my stock rebuild. So now I have my old LS1 with a crack in the #8 cylinder. What is the process of turning this into a 422? Resleeve it, crank, rods, etc.

You'll need to re-sleeve the block to a final bore size of 4.100", buy a 4.000" stroker crank, and then your preferred rods and pistons.
You're looking at about 2,600 for a re-sleeved block, 2,500 for a good crank, anywhere from 550 - 1,100 for rods, and about 650 for pistons. Then you'll need to add a set of heads (IMHO the most important pieces), a cam, the corresponding valvetrain, a high-flowing exhaust system (I would recommend stepped headers), a good induction system, and a tune.
Then of course with all of this new found power you'll start to need a rear-end and some suspension. Oh yeah, can't forget the clutches.
It's not cheap.
