Default Lt1 overheated, no fans

Every morning I let the t/a warm up for 10-15 mins while I get ready for work. Friday it was pretty cold here at about 25*.

I hop in the car expecting to take off and the temp guage is in the red and the check guages light is on with the coolant boiling.

Today I fired her up to confirm whats going on and check for damage. No fans, no evidence of milkshaking from both oil/ coolant dipsticks, no smoke, engine seems to run fine with no strange noises/ missing until it gets hot. Lost a small bit of coolant from boiling I'd expect.

So does it look like I got lucky?

Is your coolant mixed properly? When was the last time it was changed?

I flushed it when I did the opti a year ago. 2 months ago I did the heater core so I had to add in about 1.5 gallons of coolant.

So do you know if it's mixed properly?

Did I measure it exactly when I poured half straight coolant and half water in? No, but it should be mixed fairly well. Also the 1.5 gallons I added were premixed 50/50. Regardless though the coolant situation isn't the main concern right now

Ok so yesterday when I initially diagnosed my fans didn't come on.

Today I started armed with shoebox's wisdom, I jumped pins 5 & 6 on the ALDL connector and the fans came on. That means fuse, relay, and PCM are operating properly.

I fired her up and let her build temp, fan 1 comes on. Then fan 2 comes on as the temp went up, temp stabilized at 197 with the fans on.

What the hell is going on now? Everything works fine, temp sender is showing the proper temp on my laptop. Only one DTC showing code 32 (EGR), also my left BLM/ O2 is reading low at 111 fully warm. Right is at 127-128.

Any advice? (Car has a 160* t-stat by the way and is tuned for it, goes into closed loop properly).
