My original water pump was replaced with an LS2 water pump years back, and they used a 160* stat. I need to replace it with a 180* stat. I think the following parts are some of my options, are there others? Do any brands have better reputations?

Also, I've never messed with the stat. Do I just cool the motor, drain the water, remove a cover, replace the stat, and reverse?
